I have felt called to share with others how I pray with music for a while now. I was nervous to do anything with that tug on my heart because my thought has always been that I am just an ordinary person living life. However, being dealt the hand we were these last few years, if there is one person who resinates with anything I choose to share then that is worth it all.

By being obedient to Jesus, and giving Him my yes, I hope to lead others to prayer. I know how difficult it can be to sit and pray. This is where music always comes into play for me. It puts into words exactly how I am feeling. It can bring me out of the darkness and into the light with just one verse.

Talking openly about my faith and where I am with Jesus has always been a struggle. I feel as though our friends in the church are these Holy and devout catholics and that is something I don't see myself as. I always wonder if people look at us and see Jesus.

I want to be transparent in our walk with Jesus and the Holy Family because I want families that look like us to see that you don't have to fit one specific mold. You can walk the path of holiness and look like us, ordinary people. I want others to feel like they are able to be so genuine with Jesus. He is our friend and there are times when friends fight, have disagreements, are disappointed and are sorrowful. Luckily, Jesus is the most faithful friend who sits with us in all of our emotions. He also shows us His humanness when he feels everything that we feel. I pray that you enter in prayer with us as we journey our way with Jesus!
